Green steel is an innovative approach to steel manufacturing that focuses on reducing the carbon emissions produced during the production process. Unlike traditional steel, green steel employs sustainable energy sources, such as renewable electricity, to significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions.
The Ministry of Steel’s new policy on recycled steel perfectly aligns with ARS Steel’s commitment to a sustainable future.
We are happy to share that we got an International EPD (Green Steel) Certificate, 1st in the induction furnace route industry in India.
Our endeavor to reduce carbon footprint to ensure a greener world has also been acknowledged thanks to our Carbon emissions of just 841 kg which is 4 times lower than what the industry exhibits today.
Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) are independently verified documents that provide transparent, comparable data about the environmental impact of a product throughout its lifecycle. At ARS Steels, we are proud to have obtained EPD & IGBC certifications for our green steel products, ensuring that our customers have access to verified information about the sustainability and environmental benefits of our steel.
